Everyone knows everything. Where you were, who you were with, what you did there. We are close to each other, we know each other, we help each other. We are “the ones on the right side of the river”. We are Prajzáci. The initial impulse for this project was the inner need to capture my home village, which grew into a desire for a deeper knowledge and understanding of the way of life of the people around me, whom I am a part of. Prajzak? He speaks prajzsky. Behavior, that they work. Basically just the work, they don't know anything else, generally. Cos the people from town, they won't do it, you know? Pride, patriotism, the ability to cope in every situation, to do everything by yourself and not rely on outside help, to help each other. Prajzská, from a german word Preußen, Prussia in english. A border region specific because of the historical events that made us "different" from the others. Prajzák is a man who is twice as happy. First when he steals something and the second time, when he finds out what is it for. From the first half of the 18th century, Prajzáci managed to be nationals of Austria - Hungary, Prussia, Czechoslovakia, Germany, Czechoslovakia and finally the Czech Republic. Orderliness, thriftiness, family and relational closeness. "When an apple, then the one from heaven, when woman, then the one from Prajzská." Are we still the same or is the new generation of Prajzák just a sticker?

Dědina

Všichni všechno ví. Kde jsi byl, s kým jsi byl, co jsi tam dělal. Jsme si blízko, navzájem se známe, pomáháme si. Jsme “ti na té správné straně řeky”. Jsme Prajzáci. Prvotním impulzem k tomuto projektu byla niterní potřeba zachytit svou rodnou vesnici, ze které se vyklubala touha o hlubším poznání a pochopení způsobu života lidí, kteří mě obklopují a kterých jsem i já sama součástí. Prajzák? Po prajzsky mluví. Vlastnosti, že robju. Enom robotu a nic víc neznaju. Bo z města to nebudou robit, víš? Hrdost, patriotismus, schopnost poradit si v každé situaci, udělat si vše sám a nespoléhat se na pomoc zvenčí, vzájemně si pomáhat. Prajzská z německého slova Preußen, česky Prusko. Pohraniční region specifický historickými událostmi, které nás dělají “odlišnými” od ostatních. Prajzák to je člověk, který má dvakrát radost. Když něco ukrade a podruhé, když zjistí na co to má. Prajzáci stihli být od první poloviny 18. století státními příslušníky Rakouska – Uherska, Pruska, Československa, Německa, Českloslovenska a nakonec České republiky. Pořádkumiluvnost, šetrnost, rodinná a příbuzenská blízkost. "Když jabko tak rajské, když babu, tak z Prajzské." Jsme v jádru pořád stejní, nebo se s novou generací stává z Prajzáka jen nálepka?
